You do not need to suffer in order to grow.
Too often, we use our spiritual journey as a means of escape. We want to feel good immediately, without working through the dark parts. Or we break out the self-critic, who acts like a microscope: the deeper we look, the less we like what we see, and the more we berate ourselves for not being what we want to be. We run into messages that we need to suffer in order to be worthy of any success, material or otherwise.
We do not need to suffer in order to grow. We can look and expand ourselves within a space of unconditional love. By doing so, our efforts and love create a ripple effect throughout the universe.
For those who feel this, I offer this work.
