Need a little holiday self-care?
The holidays are challenging. Overflowing with expectations and cartoonish depictions of joyful times with family, this season is often triggering, lonely, and depleting. Especially if you’re sensitive or empathic.
Self care is essential all of the time, but it’s vitally important during this intense time of year. Regardless of whether you’re spending several days with your family of origin, your chosen family, or if you’ll be flying solo, Jen and I want you to enter your holiday whole and full of heart. We want you to be able to maintain your connection to yourself and those close to you. We want you to remember and refill.
Self-care For The Holidays offers three days of deep and nourishing practices you can do anywhere, anytime. Even hiding out in the bathroom during Christmas dinner. The practices focus on replenishing your energy (from a wonderfully abundant source), pressing reset if things get compressed, and reconnecting to your wholehearted self and those around you if things go awry. They are quick and efficient, offering you powerfully grounding resources to draw from during this frenetic time.
You do not have to white-knuckle the holidays. We are here for you and with you. Hope you’ll join us!
Happy, merry,
Mel and Jen

Jennifer Dopierala has been a healer since 2008 and is the founder of Finding the Heart of the Warrior. Through her work, she helps people let go of limiting beliefs and energetic blocks. This helps them move -- physically, emotionally and spiritually -- with freedom and ease in their lives, while learning to love themselves just as they are. She is longtime meditation practitioner in the lineage of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and studied for many years with Reggie Ray. Her teaching uses somatic practices to access the body and the freedom, warmth and space available there. Also a certified meditation instructor and former teacher with a Master's in Education, she has a depth of experience in creating an open space of compassion and listening.
